 My name is Holly, since I was 19 years of age I have had health problems. It started  with a slight pain in my side and it just became more and more intense. I went to the Physcians Care, the ER, and finially an OB. The Dr. told me he needed to do exploratory surgery to find out what was wrong but he thought I might have a large tumor on my left ovary. After surgery I woke up and was told that the Dr found endometrosis, it was so bad that he had to remove the left ovary and tube. I knew what this was because it ran in my family, my aunt had it and my great-aunt as well. At that time neither one had been able to have children. This was devastating to me, I love children. I was engaged and really wanted to start a family. I did everything I could to preserve my last ovary. The Dr suggested shots that made me go into menopause.
